Originally recorded and made famous by Wilbur Walton Jr. and the James Gang,

The Song "Georgia Pines"is being released as a special product from Playground Records.

Available in a few days from this website only "Georgia Pines" was re-recorded in 1972

by Beaverteeth at Playground with Charlie Silva on Vocals.

Jimmy"Orion" Ellis liked the track so much that he overdubbed his vocal later that year as did Jimmy Louis.

This CD features all three vocalists as well as an instrumental track.

The tape transfers and mastering were done in Hi-Resolution for the best possible sound quality.

The first purchases will include a very cool collectors "palm card" shown above.

The WaCo Ramblers, from Walton County Florida, not Waco Texas,

are a group of rock musicians from different bands who joined up a

year and a half ago with The “Red Rocket”, Jeremiah Campbell,

to play late 40’s style Bluegrass music.

Campbell has used the style made popular by Smiley and Reno,

Hank Williams, Ralph Stanley, and Jimmie Rodgers as a conduit

for his lyrics that address local and global problems as well as those “of the heart ”
